Tactical Communication Kits

Delaware County ARES-RACES maintains a total of 17 Tactical Communication (TAC-COM) Kits for conducting field operations. Each kit is housed in rugged waterproof Pelican cases to withstand the most challenging environmental conditions. The kits are equipped with state-of-the-art radio transceivers, battery systems, microcomputers and antennas to permit voice and data communications to be conducted from the field on HF, VHF, UHF and microwave Amateur Radio frequencies.
